Kurtarra Pty Ltd recognises that risk management is an integral part of good management practice. The Company is committed to achieving best practice in the area of risk management, and will apply its principles and practices throughout the organisation.

Risk management is an integral part of day to day operations and is an important element of effective internal control. Managers and employees at all levels are responsible for developing an understanding of, and becoming competent in the implication of risk management principles and practices in their work areas.

Kurtarra Pty Ltd is committed to:

  • Conducting risk assessments of Company Activities, Product and Services and to defining management strategies to prevent risks in the first instance, and to minimise the impact of these risks should they exist;
  • Being aware of all Regulatory requirements relevant to its activities, and to putting systems in place to adhere to these;
  • Providing training to all Employees to raise awareness of Risks and Risk Management;
  • Reviewing this Policy and all Risk Management Practices regularly to ensure they are relevant and in line with current Industry Best Practice.
  • Continually improving the Company Risk Profile.
